We Are All Different
Too often, we look to others and wish we could stand in their shoes, have what they have or be as good at something as they are. I am not the first to have this realization and I will certainly not be the last, but today I am the latest. Sometimes we just need somebody or something to remind us that we are individuals. We will never be the same, act the same or speak English in the exact same way as others.
In fact, I bet you can’t think of anyone who uses the exact same pronunciation, selection of idioms/expressions or, most importantly, range of vocabulary as you in your native language!
We Are All Different
Great! Now that we can stop worrying about that guy whose grammar is perfect, or that girl who is like a human dictionary, we can start thinking about ourselves again.
So today, instead of dreaming of being like him or her, continue climbing your own English mountain, with your own bag of vocabulary and remember, “the right way, the correct way and the only way do not exist!!
